What name should I use for my Youtube account?
Use a name for which your instructor will recognize you. I.e. If your name is Mike Rueter and your UIUC NetID mrueter2, try using something like mrueter2, mikerueter, Span232rueter, etc...
Is it okay if instead of "inviting friends" to view the video I invite my instructor to subscribe to my channel?
No.
Is it okay if I just make my video public instead?
No.
Can I read from my notes?
No. You can only make use of brief notes on an index card to "guide" your speech and not forget the points you want to talk about. If you read from a paper, or from a Word document on the computer (your eyes move along the lines and it is obvious you are reading), your grade will be penalized with 20 points.
For how long am I supposed to be talking?
For 5 minutes minimum. I.e. 3:50 minutes is NOT acceptable and will be penalized
I don't have a webcam
